As a verified Level 2 trauma center POH Regional Medical Center is equipped to meet the needs of those traumatically injured in Oakland County. We are a resource and base hospital for nine emergency services providers and assist in EMS training programs. We also provide injury prevention information and classes to provide a safer environment in which to live.

POH Regional Medical Center became a verified Level 2 Trauma Center in November of 2006. This prestigious recognition is determined by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma who verify trauma centers around the world. The standard of care provided includes 24-hour availability of emergency services, surgeons, trauma trained nurses, operating rooms, radiology, critical care, and other services.
