Physician Organized Healthcare System (POHS) was established as a partnership between POH Regional Medical Center and its medical staff.  We are responsible for the negotiation, development and administration of a variety of managed care contracts for our network of physicians, ancillary facilities and hospitals.  We serve as a liaison between the McLaren Healthcare System, health plans, employers, physicians and patient enrollees.

Contracting

• Negotiate, review and administer all contractual agreements
• Maintain comprehensive relationships with established managed care plans
• Explore new market opportunities for direct contacting with both large and small employer groups

Provider Services

• Act as a liaison between the McLaren Healthcare System, health plans, physicians, practices and facilities
• Coordinate health plan orientations
• Provide Assistance with claims
• Assist in health plan/enrollee/physician grievance resolutions
