1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Graduate of approved proram for Medical Assistant or 1 year of equivalent experience.
3. MUST HAVE PEDIATRIC EXPERIENCE.
4. Excellent customer relations skills.
5. Certified in CPR.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. 75% proficiency on medical terminology test.
2. Certified Medical Assistant.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of medical equipment.
4. Previous medical office experience.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of managed care.
Primary Duties
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting the provider and other ancillary administrative staff with basic office medical functions to ensure a coordinated approach to patient activities. Works closely with the provider to ensure expedient, appropriate patient care.
